Quick Paleo Resources (AKA Get the Info You Need About Paleo—Without Hours of Research)

I'm an information junkie. Particularly when it's a topic I'm passionate about.

However, I do realize that most of the world doesn't suffer from this indulgent compulsion. Most people won't spend five hours per day listening to podcasts or reading medical blogs to find the leading experts in fields like metabolic syndrome or nutrition.

So, if you're interested in learning what this whole paleo thing is all about, I've compiled a list of great starting places for you in the Resources tab above. I even linked to different kinds of media—from movies to blogs and podcasts. I've followed each resource I list for quite a while, they've proven to provide consistent, quality content and I trust them.

I think it's important to note here that health is a journey, not a destination. I was overwhelmed when I was first exposed to all this new information. I wanted to get everything right, right away. That's a dangerous endeavor, and it leads to failure, every time.

If this lifestyle is something that interests you, my advice is begin from a place of education and understanding. Do a little research, take in what good information you can, process it objectively and then apply it in small ways to start. Do a few trial runs, find what works for you and then set small goals that will lead you to where you want to be (and eat a lot of great food along the way).

More recipes and/or interesting things for the non-research obsessed next time, promise.

To your good health,
Allison
